Job Title: Front-End Developer

How you will make an impact:
As a Front-End Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate design mockups into engaging and intuitive web applications. You will play a crucial role in creating visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive interfaces that enhance the overall user experience.
Seeking a front-end developer with a foundational understanding of UX design principles, including user-centered design, persona development, and accessibility standards. The ideal candidate will actively engage in usability testing to help identify and rectify experience challenges, ensuring a seamless and accessible user experience. Experience utilizing and managing atomic design systems to ensure consistent, efficient, and scalable UI development across projects.
Expected Results:
• Documentation:Transform clear and comprehensive design mockups into interactive web applications, ensuring that the final products are visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive across a variety of devices and screen sizes.
• Assurance: Front-End Developers develop modular, reusable code components to streamline development and maintenance. Focus on improving user experience by optimizing UI elements, navigation flows and interaction patterns.
• Product Launches: Contribute to the delivery of new products by actively participating in the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to market release. This includes involvement in development through to market launch, supporting the oversight of the product development lifecycle, and helping to meet or exceed defined timelines, budget and objectives.
• Satisfaction: Enhance customer satisfaction by delivering products that meet or exceed customer expectations, leading to positive feedback, increased customer loyalty, and potentially higher Net Promoter Scores (NPS).
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with Front-End Development
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Must be proficient in front-end technologies and frameworks: Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, along with frameworks and libraries like React, Vue.js, or Angular, to create scalable and reusable UI components.
• Excellent UI design skills, with an ability to contribute to visually appealing and intuitive interfaces. Ability to translate design into code: proficiency with taking wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups and turning them into working, responsive web interfaces.
• Possesses responsive design skills and familiarity with pre-processing platforms like SASS or LESS CSS.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (such as Figma or Adobe XD) to accurately translate design concepts into functional user interfaces.
• Possesses a continuous learning mindset. Stays updated on the latest trends in front-end development and design technologies, including CSS animations, motion design, and new JavaScript APIs.
• Ability to optimize website performance for speed and efficiency, understanding of how to minimize page load times.
• Excellent communication skills for working closely with UI/UX and back-end developers.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with UX designers to understand design specifications and provide feedback on technical feasibility and usability issues.

Responsibilities:
• Must be self-motivated, and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Able to build a new product with no existing UI; must have the skillset to build a UI infrastructure from the "ground up."
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design mockups into interactive web applications.
• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to identify pain points and areas for improvement.
• Ensure prototypes accurately reflect the final product's functionality and user experience.
• Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand feature requirements and objectives.
• Translate feature requirements into technical specifications and implementation plans.
• Focus on improving user experience by optimizing UI elements, navigation flows, and interaction patterns.
Pay & Benefits:
• Compensation: The base pay range for this role is $100,000 to $130,000 and is set based on multiple considerations including business needs, market demands, talent availability, experience, and unique skills and attributes. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
